REMINDER: NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2015 ALGIM GIS AWARDS The ALGIM GIS Awards recognise and celebrate best practice in GIS amongst New Zealand local authorities. They aim to encourage Local Government staff to be innovative and to grow and be recognised in supporting their organisation and communities of interest. They also promote the image of Local Government GIS throughout the wider sector. This year, ALGIM are offering 2 awards:
GIS Project of the Year Award
GIS Professional Development Award
Nominations for the awards close 5pm Friday 20 March. The winners will be announced during the Formal Awards Dinner on Wednesday 22 April at the 2015 ALGIM GIS Symposium.
