Join the Canterbury Maps team in this introductory training webinar to gain an understanding of Canterbury Maps and how it can be of use to you.
This introductory training session has been organised to give users a better understanding of Canterbury Maps and provide people with the ability to use Canterbury Maps effectively and efficiently in their area of work. We welcome anyone to sign up and learn what is possible on the site.
This introductory session is best suited to those who are new to the site or unfamiliar with spatial data. If there is interest more advanced sessions may be scheduled.
What will be covered:
Exploring the Canterbury Maps website
Using Property Search to find information about a property
Getting started with the map viewer
Finding and adding layers to the map
Using imagery in the map and finding the date it was captured
Printing a map for a report or document
